Dr. Andy Letcher

Dr Andy Letcher is a Senior Lecturer at Schumacher College where he is programme lead for the MA Engaged Ecology. He has doctorates in Ecology from the University of Oxford and in the Study of Religion from King Alfred’s College, Winchester. He researches contemporary psychedelic experience and has written papers on: mushrooms use among contemporary Druids; fairies; mysticism; and psychedelics and animism. He is the author of the critically acclaimed Shroom: A Cultural History of the Magic Mushroom.
